The center consists of seven classrooms which collectively serve over 100 children each day. The center is located in the heart of a vibrant and well-maintained university setting.

Position Summary

A dedicated educator who loves the classroom setting and helping teachers to identify, balance and meet the needs of the children for whom they care with creativity and flexibility. You are adaptable and resourceful, and enjoy working where those traits are valued. You should have experience working with young children and supervising staff who teach in early childhood classrooms. As a core member of our leadership team, you should feel comfortable working with a wide variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds and leveraging your leadership skills to meet the needs of those who report to you.

You'll provide ongoing supervision, training and mentorship to the teachers; recruiting, hiring and onboarding new teachers as needed. You'll communicate with parents regularly, and work with the administrative team to ensure the center operates effectively. This includes communicating and prioritizing the shifting needs of your classrooms and navigating diverse, interpersonal dynamics in an energetic environment. You will also have a lead role in recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, supervising, and evaluating our terrific university student employees.
