About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for an admission professional to be involved in all phases of the admission/enrollment process for professional/graduate programs in pharmacy.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible professional staff position in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Bouve College of Health Sciences, reporting to the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs in the school.

This position is 40 hours per week M-F. The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is dedicated to excellence in pharmacy-related education, research, and service, including the provision of patient care. We prepare students with knowledge, skills, and values for careers in pharmacy practice and the pharmaceutical sciences. Our programs promote intellectual growth, professionalism, and lifelong learning. The school contributes to improved individual and population health through the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and through scholarship and community service.

Responsibilities:
The Admissions and Enrollment Manager in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS), under the supervision of the Assistant Dean in the Office of Student Affairs, directs and manages all phases of SOPPS admissions and enrollment processes.

The Admissions and Enrollment Manager establishes and maintains all aspects of infrastructure for direct admission to the professionally accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program and well as the undergraduate and graduate programs in pharmaceutical sciences (major, minor, combined major, MS, and Ph.D. degrees); and actively integrates other SOPPS pathways and programs in coordination with Bouve College of Health Sciences and the university's Enrollment Management offices.

The Admissions and Enrollment Manager manages the yearlong application cycle (utilizing the CAS system on the WebAdmit platform) from recruitment phase through matriculation and is the administrative member of the SOPPS Admission Committees in the departments of Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as for the accreditation-mandated faculty and appropriate external stakeholders charged with admissions into the SOPPS programs.

The Admissions and Enrollment Manager attracts and retains highly qualified candidates by promoting SOPPS programs nationally and internationally via targeted marketing and social media campaigns while working closely with appropriate college and university offices on larger-scale campaigns. The Admissions and Enrollment Manager develops and deploys an effective quality assurance process to ensure that quality improvement occurs within and across recruitment cycles. The Admissions and Enrollment Manager drives enrollment targets and timelines needed to achieve the school's enrollment goals while exercising DEI core values strategically institutes changes and quality improvements and establishes high-touch points and culture and communication strategies to attract/retain applicants and maximize yield correspondence.

The Admissions and Enrollment Manager directly oversees, trains, and manages a team of application readers and student workers and creates a culture that ensures consistent, high-quality, and timely completion of admissions and recruitment activities, including prospective student correspondence, interviews, open houses, webinars, and meetings, onboarding, student retention, and orientation. The Admissions and Enrollment Manager utilizes highly developed, effective communication skills to engage a variety of stakeholders and business partners within a complex organizational structure to move admissions and enrollment processes forward. The Admissions and Enrollment Manager is responsible for creating an efficient global SOPPS enrollment infrastructure (admissions, student support, and inclusive policies) and manages all international recruitment efforts, and serves as the point of contact and representatives for SOPPS.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of admissions and enrollment systems, web-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Banner, etc.), and social media platforms.

Proven ability to successfully lead initiatives and manage processes is required. A high level of motivation, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, ability to organize and execute on diverse priorities a requirement. Excellent decision-making and critical thinking are required.

Experience with graphic design, website software, and/or Adobe suite is a plus. Relationship building, diversity consciousness, customer-relations focus, and an ability to manage change are other competencies required by the position.

Knowledge and skills typically acquired through a bachelor's degree and at least 3 - 5 years of related experience; Master's degree and admissions experience strongly preferred.
