- Reviews, prepares, and processes all disbursements for Foundation funds.
- Balances and reconciles internal Foundation accounts, bank and credit card statements.
- Reconciles complex accounts payable and receivable transactions for the bank statement and journal entries.
- Serves as a liaison to faculty, staff, students, donors and alumni for Foundation fund inquiries and details.
- Coordinates the activities of subordinates.
- Performs a variety of detailed accounting assignments requiring knowledge of accounting theory and principles.
- Applies functional knowledge to analyze and respond to matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of Foundation policies and procedures.
- Ensures donor requirements are met by monitoring Foundation accounts as specified.
- May authorize the purchase of equipment, supplies and services within defined limits.
- Performs or reviews specialized calculations related to posting and accounting functions.
- Solves problems and recommends changes in procedure in accordance with previous training or experience.
- May prepare student personnel payroll action requests.
- Assists campus departments with analyzing, gathering, and creating data for budgeting and expense tracking.
- Develops and manages online Foundation and grant report, deposits.
- Manages online scholarship entry system in Scholarship Academic Works (BAM).
- Works closely with auditors for annual review.
- Research and files Unclaimed property returns.
- Organizes and files quarterly and annually IRS reporting for 1099, and audit reports.
- Reporting to Financial Aid and Departments for scholarships.
- Yearly reporting to departments.
- Works with students and loan granting agencies to pay off loans.
Minimum qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; and,
- 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience; or,
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Annual Salary:
