Emporia State University’s AACSB-accredited School of Business in Emporia, Kansas, is accepting applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position in Management. The position begins in August 2022, at the rank of assistant/associate professor.

Position Summary:

This position, based in Emporia, Kansas, will primarily teach Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management courses in our MBA-Global program. ESU offers the MBA-Global program in partnership with Tsinghua University, China, in a predominantly online format with periodic on-the-ground weekend sessions in Beijing. Scholarly research and service contributions to the School of Business, ESU, and the community are expected.

Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who have earned a Ph.D. in Management. Candidates with terminal qualifications in related disciplines may also be considered. Relevant teaching and/or industry experience in management or strategy is a plus. Candidates must exhibit excellent teaching and be considered Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion and support of the Emporia State University Diversity and Inclusion Statements.

Courses are taught in Mandarin, so the position requires fluency in both English and Mandarin. The incumbent will be required to travel to China four times per year.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. ESU offers a comprehensive benefits package.
