Job Summary
The Layered Solids Lab in the Materials Science & Engineering Department at Drexel University is searching for a Post-Doctoral Researcher to work with industrial partners to develop methods to commercialize MXenes which can be used for biomedical application. The applicant will be expected to work diligently and efficiently, contribute to the project intellectually, lead in writing scholarly papers and grant proposals, publish research results in appropriate refereed journals, engage in the research team activities, comply with and contribute to safety protocols, maintain equipment in the laboratory and assist in mentoring junior group members.
Essential Functions
- Contribute to the project intellectually.
- Lead in writing scholarly papers and grant proposals.
- Publish research results in appropriate refereed journals.

- Assist in mentoring junior group members.
- PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
- Knowledge and experience with working MAX phases and MXene is a must.
