Job Description:

The Department of Economics (http://www.clarku.edu/departments/economics) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in microeconomics of development beginning in Fall 2022.  Successful applicants will be able to teach courses in economic development at the Ph.D. and undergraduate levels and have an interest in contributing to the core undergraduate curriculum in economics as well as an interdisciplinary international development program.  Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising, as well as high-quality academic research.  We encourage applications from candidates whose research involves empirical aspects of development.  Appointment as an assistant professor requires completion of a Ph.D. in economics or a related field prior to August 31, 2022.
