Centre College invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in psychology beginning August 2022. Area of specialization is open, however the ideal candidate expands our expertise in any number of sub-disciplines within psychology (e.g. Experimental, Developmental, Clinical, Cognitive, Industrial-Organizational), and is able to teach core courses (Introductory Psychology, Methods), upper-level courses in their area of expertise, and/or courses experiencing enrollment pressure. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in a student-centered environment. Special consideration will be given to candidates committed to using/developing inclusive pedagogies, mentoring student research, and supporting students beyond the classroom. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree by the start of their appointment.
