Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level Business Analyst to join the Master Data Management Team in Enterprise Systems (ES), a unit within UFIT. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:

Familiarity with Person data, Person data collection, and Identity proofing.
Creative and original, in addition to possessing the ability to improvise and improve existing systems. Experience with documenting and communicating effectively.

Expected Salary:

$45,000 - $50,000 annually; commensurate with education and experience. In addition, the University of Florida offers a very competitive benefits package. https://hr.ufl.edu/benefits/

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced analyst in IT Service Management, familiar with a matrix organization.

The successful candidate will have exemplary communication skills with an ability to explain complex, highly technical information to non-technical colleagues using clear, simple language.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related field
  • Knowledge of university business operations
  • Knowledge of ERP software applications, and experience with the Huron Research Suite
