The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Department of
Education is seeking a full-time non-tenure stream
instructor/assistant professor beginning in the 2022-2023 academic
year. Responsibilities will include teaching 12-credits (usually
four courses) each semester in person on campus, including, but not
limited to, educational psychology, elementary/early childhood
reading/ELA methods, elementary math methods, elementary science
methods and/or general education courses. Duties for these courses
will include designing the courses according to Pennsylvania
Department of Education teacher education competencies, assessing
students appropriately, and modeling best practices for the

Background in elementary education preferred. Additionally, the
University of Pittsburgh values candidates with an interest in

The successful candidate will possess at least a Master’s degree
and teaching experience; experience teaching in higher education is
a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with a terminal
degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.).
