Eastern Kentucky University’s College of Business is seeking a dynamic, community-facing leader prepared to build external partnerships and increase the visibility and support of the College. The incoming Dean will craft a vision for the future that embodies the College’s guiding values, operate with integrity, respect the unique Appalachian culture of the region, embrace diversity and inclusiveness, and seek excellence in interactions that connect the College to the community.

EKU’s College of Business challenges students and changes lives through rigorous, dynamic teaching, scholarship, and service to enhance student success and contribute to the entrepreneurial and professional capacity of a global society. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the College of Business offers undergraduate, graduate, minor, and certificate programs.

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is a regional, coeducational, public institution of higher education offering general and liberal arts programs, pre-professional studies, and professional training in a wide variety of disciplines at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Located in Richmond, Kentucky, EKU has a distinguished record of more than a century of educational service to the Commonwealth.

The community provides an excellent environment for university students and boasts theaters, live entertainment, fine dining, cultural events and activities, and a regional shopping mall, as well as many areas of historic and scenic interest.
