The Undergraduate Admissions Administrative Support position is
part of the Operations Team in the Office of Admissions and
Recruitment. The Administrative Support role provides critical
support throughout the admissions cycle working in a high volume,
deadline driven environment.
This position is a document processing and data entry role that
requires excellent attention to detail, organizational and
communication skills. Ability to perform highly repetitive tasks
with accuracy and efficiency is critical. The incumbent is expected
to exercise significant amounts of independent initiative and
judgment, as well as a strong administrative, problem solving and
analytic ability. Experience working effectively in both an
independent and team setting is required.
Experience with Excel, SIS (Student Information System) and
ImageNow is preferred. Experience with managing data in multiple
technology environments is also preferred.

This position is 50% to 75% time, with a maximum of 29 hours/week.
The Administrative Support position is expected to begin in
September and end in late February. The actual start date will be
determined at the time of hire. Actual end date will be determined
by the supervisor and may extend through June 2022. This is a
Madison based position with the option to be remote. This position
requires some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a
designated campus work location. Some work may be performed
remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
Appointment Type, Duration:
Terminal, 8 month appointment.
