Landmark College, located in southern Vermont, is a premier institution for neurodiverse students. The College is seeking an experienced professional for a full-time staff position of Assistant Director of the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training (LCIRT).  Primary duties are to coordinate and deliver online and face-to-face professional development initiatives centered broadly on learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism; teach in the online post-baccalaureate certificate program on Learning Differences and Neurodiversity; and participate in research activities as engaged in by LCIRT.

Reporting to the Director of LCIRT, the Assistant Director will manage all aspects of the Institute’s professional development and training activities.  Specifically, work responsibilities include the management of client relations, administration, and delivery of LCIRT professional development including, but not limited to, webinars, workshops, and events. LCIRT is internationally known for providing high-quality, learning opportunities for educators (both secondary and postsecondary), employers, and parents on topics relating to learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, executive function, and neurodiversity. The Assistant Director will work with the LCIRT team to design and conduct research in the psychological, educational, and social sciences fields related to the mission of the Institute. Opportunities to develop independent research agendas are possible based on interest, experience and qualifications.  In addition to these responsibilities, this position will support the Director and the LCIRT team in developing strategic partnerships and joint ventures; pursuing public and private funding opportunities; and advancing LCIRT’s distinctive mission, programs, and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:  An earned master’s degree in psychology, education, or an associated field (e.g., neuroscience, counseling) with experience in the administration and delivery of educational programming or professional development at the postsecondary level. Knowledge of learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism is necessary.  The candidate must demonstrate capacity to manage large-scale projects, interact with clients and other constituent groups, and handle simultaneously competing priorities. Must possess outstanding presentation, communication (written and spoken), and project management skills. Must be willing to travel, and exhibit flexibility in scheduling beyond standard work hours and days. A hybrid on- and off-site schedule is negotiable.
