Job Summary

Wardenburg Health Services at Colorado University Boulder encourages applications for a Structural Trades 1 Position! This position will provide routine repairs and assistance. This includes: building shelves, repairs, cabinets, painting, patching walls, torn carpet, replacing tiles and ceiling tiles, removing broken glass, replacing light bulbs, caulking windows and doors, minor furniture repair, and any kind of minor repair as it arises. Report unsafe conditions to supervisor, open and lock doors in the building and perform custodial task as they arise. Ensure a clean and safe facility for patients and staff, move, maintain and repair equipment and furniture. Perform internal and external building remodeling and facility and equipment maintenance.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Perform and Assist with Routine Repairs:

  • Build shelves, repair cabinets, paint, patch walls, torn carpet, replace tiles and ceiling tiles, remove broken glass, replace light bulbs, caulk windows and doors, minor furniture repair, and any kind of minor repair as needed.


Clean and Disinfect:

  • Wardenburg Health Center facilities including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, halls, windows, mirrors telephones, water fountains, and trash containers, in such areas as doctor’s offices, restrooms, waiting areas, front desk and physical therapy.


Other Duties as Assigned.

The salary is $39,976 annually.

What We Require

  • At least 6+ months or more experience directly related to the work assignment.
  • Job appropriate education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
