Williams College is pleased to announce the opening of a Leadership Giving Program Coordinator. Reporting to and supporting the Director of Alumni Fund Leadership Giving and the Director of Women’s Leadership Giving, the Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative duties, including assisting with leadership giving program planning, women’s philanthropy initiative planning, scheduling, travel and event planning, giving data analysis, file and database maintenance, and volunteer management.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities include extensive support for two busy professional fundraisers and program managers, including correspondence and direct contact with high-level volunteers and donors, contributions to solicitation strategy and stewardship, maintenance of calendars, coordination of travel and itineraries, and preparation of expense reports, proposals, briefings and other detailed reports in a deadline-driven environment. The Leadership Giving Program Coordinator will assist with event planning details as well as mailings, spreadsheets, and trip reports. They will also handle some shared department responsibilities and special projects, as assigned.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks, and anticipate the needs of directors
  • Must have excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and facility with databases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including email correspondence and proofreading, to interact effectively with alumni, parents, and staff
  • High level of accuracy and acute attention to detail
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with others while maintaining successful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
This is a full-time (40 hrs./wk.), year-round, regular appointment.
