DGIST Non-tenure Track Faculty Public Invitation - Visiting Teaching Professor

1. Positions & Qualification

• Department: School of Undergraduate Studies
• Recruitment Field 

           - Qualifications

             ‧ Ph.D. in Statistics required (Open to all fields in Statistics)

             ‧ Non-Korean nationals only

             ‧ Native or near-native English proficiency required

             ‧ Experience in teaching a college-level course on statistics required

             ‧ Capable on teaching statistics program R

           - Main duties and responsibilities include

             ‧ Teaching 2 undergraduate courses per semester (3 credits per course)

             ‧ Developing introductory courses on Statistics for Engineering and Science students

           - Contract period

             ‧ One year, starting on February 1, 2022 through January 31, 2023

              ‧ Renewable upon evaluation (up to 3 years)

         2) Psychology

           - Qualifications

             ‧ Ph.D. in Psychology required (Open to all fields in psychology)

             ‧ Non-Korean nationals only

             ‧ Native or near-native English proficiency required

             ‧ Having College-level teaching experience preferred

           - Main Duties and Responsibilities include

             ‧ 2 courses per semester (undergraduate courses, 3 credits per course)

             ‧ Developing psychology courses

           - Contract Period

            ‧ One year, starting on February 1, 2022 through January 31, 2023

            ‧ Renewable upon evaluation (up to 3 years)

• Quota : Each 1

※ With no reasons for disqualification based on related Korean Law(STATE PUBLIC OFFICIALS ACT Article 33)

※ Annual salary will be determined within a maximum limit, 70,000,000 KRW, considering your experience and other backgrounds.

※ Appointment date can be adjusted in consultation with Department.

⦁ Results of each step will be individually notified via email

⦁ Appointment shall be canceled in case of 1) a false entry or modification is found in the application form, 2) impossibility to obtain a Ph.D. as of appointment, 3) being rejected in pre-employment medical checkups
