The Department of Diplomacy at
National Chengchi University (NCCU) invites applications for the
faculty position of International Relations to begin in February or
August 2022. The department is recruiting a new faculty member with
a Ph.D. degree in International Political
Economy, International Development,
and International Law. Candidates in the final stage of
completing their degree requirements should hold the certified
Ph.D. degree before January 15th, 2022.
The department is seeking a candidate
whose teaching and research interests in IPE, Non-traditional
Security, and International Development. A regional focus on Latin
America that complements our existing faculty’s teaching and
research interests will be an asset. The candidate should have
strong capability to teach courses and publish academic works in
English as well.
NCCU is equipped with high-quality
research and is also one of the best academic institutions in
Taiwan with excellent faculties specialized in International
Politics and Regional Studies. NCCU is also known for having the
best degree programs in Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business
Studies in East Asia. In addition, the school libraries hold one of
the most comprehensive collections in Humanities and Social
Sciences. There are more than 2,290 Western language periodicals,
102,773 Chinese/Japanese/Korean bound periodicals, and 39,582
e-journals. We believe these rich research resources will provide a
studious atmosphere to conduct research.

official transcripts from college to Ph.D. degree, a copy of the
Ph.D. dissertation and writing samples, and two recommendation
