Safety Officer I
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Safety Officer I
in the University Police department.
The candidate would be expected to: patrol the interior and
exterior of the residential areas as well as the parking lots and
quad area, academic buildings, athletic buildings, the Library and
other University facilities, and other area of campus.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills,
Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information
Required Years of Experience:
Ability to conduct foot (climbing stairs and walking for long
periods of time) and vehicular patrol. Must be able to sit for long
periods of time. Work overtime as needed. Respond to call-ins as
needed. Ability to maintain data manually and generate neat and
accurate reports. Must be able to maintain composure and
appropriate decorum during difficult situations.
Experience as a Class I, II, Park Ranger or Security Officer.
