The Lundquist College of Business Operations area encompasses the
functional areas of: college support, building management,
technology services, fiscal services, and personnel. The college is
comprised of five departments that provide the foundation of
student education and four centers of excellence that provide
students with hands-on learning and experiences that tackle
real-world business challenges. The centers provide specific
curricular tracks at the MBA level.
The Lundquist College Support Office is often the first contact
with the college that prospective faculty have. It is imperative
that staff act as ambassadors of the College and University and
operate as part of the team in the daily management of the college
and faculty support services area.
College Support Services provides operational and administrative
support to the college's instructional and research faculty,
department heads, Graduate Employees (GEs and PhDs), and other
college units as allowed. The office supports the teaching and
research mission of the college. Back-up support for the office is
available through the Dean's Office. The team supports
approximately 120 faculty (tenured, tenure track, career/non tenure
track, pro tems) and Graduate Employees (GEs and PhD students). The
office also supports administrative efforts related to the PhD
program and sometimes provides event coordination and travel
processing (including arrangements and reimbursements via the
University's enterprise software, Concur) for the entire
The College Support Specialist supports the faculty, staff,
students, and guests of the Lundquist College by performing
clerical duties, managing instructional needs of faculty and GEs,
and serving as a central hub of information.
Essential duties include providing administrative support for
faculty searches; procurement and expense reimbursement processing;
dissemination of information; and managing the department guest
Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which
included typing, word processing, or other experience generating
An Associate's degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology;
Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in
Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general
