This position is front line staff in day-to-day
contact with all MPCC constituents – students, faculty, staff, and
the public. This position plays a vital role in supporting our
students and assisting in initiatives led by our Student Services
Team. Duties include answering phones, scheduling advising
appointments, making room reservations, taking payments, ordering
office supplies, collect, sort, and distribute mail daily. This
position supports all campus locations but offices in the South
Campus Welcome Center.
Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county
service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open
access, public, two-year community college system that offers
associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of
three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two
located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are
community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and
Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area.

Three to five years customer service experience, experience with
office phones and computers, strong attention to detail, good
problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with college
environment helpful. Associates degree required experience will be
considered in lieu of degree.
