Position Summary:

Provides administrative support for a department, group of professionals, or to the manager of a work group consisting of professional staff and subordinate supervisors in support of unit goals, under general supervision.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- Proficiency with office software tools including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Outlook or equivalent, is required
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in complex and new situations.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, patience and positive attitude.
- Ability to quickly learn office and campus processes and consistently and accurately perform general duties with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to taking the initiative to identify and improve processes and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and human relationship skills, including exceptional customer service skills. Ability to use tact, courtesy and discretion in dealing with a variety of individuals.
- Skilled at managing multiple tasks/responsibilities and meeting strict deadlines in an office setting with numerous interruptions.

Work Schedule:

Schedule is typically Monday through Friday 7:45 - 4:30, actual schedule will be determined at time of hire.

This position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. May have the opportunity for some hybrid work.
