Position Summary:

Provide Pulmonary and Critical Care services at UW Hospital and the teleICU.

Principal Duties:

Incumbent will join the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and will participate in pulmonary and critical care services at UW Hospital and Clinics, and the Tele ICU. Clinical expectations may include ICU, Inpatient pulmonary consultative service, procedures, pulmonary function test interpretation, and staffing outpatient clinics based on the interests of the candidate and needs of the Division. Incumbent will also support the clinical research and teaching missions of the Division.

For appointments hired as Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor:
Provide patient care at UW Health approved location(s); provide clinical teaching to medical students and/or residents and fellows.

For appointments hired as Assistant or Associate Professor (CHS):
Provide patient care at UW Health approved location(s); The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Additional Information:

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial Caregiver Check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and then every four years.
