Position Summary:

Performs administrative duties to support providers, staff, services, and unit programs. May serve as the primary contact or customer service representative and subject matter expert. Tracks, prioritizes, organizes, and completes multiple ongoing clinical, research or academic projects. Requires Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) knowledge or training.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum two years experience providing administrative support in an office setting is required.
Computer experience in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
Effective oral and written communication skills, independent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization, and an outgoing and energetic service-oriented approach is required.

Previous complex clinical scheduling experience is strongly preferred.
Training in, knowledge of, and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations is preferred.
Previous experience providing office administrative support in the UW System is preferred.
Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to think proactively and prioritize work is preferred. Ability to plan and carry out work without direct supervision is preferred.

Additional Information:

The pay rate listed is the minimum for the position. Pay rate and title will be determined at the time of hire based on candidate qualifications and experience.

Business hours are Monday-Friday, specific hours will be determined upon hire.

This position requires some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
