ANTICPATED STARTING DATE:
The Science Laboratory Educational Assistant serves as an assistant
to the faculty on the Biology and Chemistry department assisting in
the college’s science lab courses. Incumbents must possess proven
ability to effectively work with a culturally, linguistically, and
ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and student. They are expected
to have excellent oral and written communication skills along with
strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
Associate degree in an appropriately related field.
Successful Candidate must have or must possess:
- Experience in preparing media.
- Experience in laboratory setting.
- General knowledge of laboratory equipment
- General knowledge of Biology and Chemistry.

- Prior Science Laboratory experience.
Under the direction of the Science Laboratory Supervisor or other
administrator, the Science Laboratory Assistant is accountable for
preparation, organization and set up the laboratory materials in
line with faculty and staff syllabi .
