package is comprised of many college paid benefits including health

justice, Santa Fe College’s Counseling Center is seeking a
Counseling Specialist to provide mental health counseling to
college students with a variety of personal, academic, and career
concerns. The Counseling Center provides short-term, culturally
relevant mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and
community resource referrals. Counselors participate in SF’s Trauma
Response Team and offer regular consultations with faculty and
staff. The Counseling Center also provides workshops, training,
presentations, and outreach for both students and staff. Santa Fe

Responsibilities and duties include:
· Provide face to face and telemental health counseling to
students with personal, career, and academic concerns.
· Provide crisis intervention services during the workday.
· Conduct psycho-educational training for students, faculty, and

Required: A Master’s degree in Counseling or a relevant field
with an active State of Florida license as a Mental Health
Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or

health counseling experience is preferred. Substantive experience
working directly with college students and minority populations,
knowledge of community resources, and crisis intervention
