West Texas A&M University, Canyon, Texas invites highly qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Engineering Technology in the College of Engineering. (Other ranks may be considered depending on the candidate's qualifications and accomplishments.) The College will consider applicants with expertise in any field of engineering technology including industrial engineering and management and advanced manufacturing. 

Qualifications: The candidates are expected to have completed their PhD or satisfied requirements for a PhD by August 2022. Although candidates with at least one degree in engineering technology or industrial engineering are preferred, those with degrees in a closely related discipline will be considered. Successful candidates will be expected to develop an externally funded, internationally recognized research program, to excel in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to serve the College and their profession.

College Information: The College currently has 40 full-time faculty members, approximately 750 undergraduate students and 120 graduate students, and has an ambitious plan for growth, recognition, and visibility. West Texas A&M University's College of Engineering offers diverse programs in mechanical, civil, electrical, and environmental engineering as well as engineering technology, mathematics and computer science. The College offers a BS and MS in Engineering Technology. Current research thrusts within the College with an ET emphasis include manufacturing, system informatics, data analytics, transportation, logistics, supply chain management, operations research, and human factors engineering.
