The Georgetown Environment Initiative, the McDonough School of Business, and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences invite applications for a joint tenure-track faculty position in environmental economics, starting in Fall 2022. This new hire is part of a broader cluster of faculty recruitments complementing existing expertise in the areas of environment and sustainability at Georgetown University.

This position is a tenure-track/tenured position with open rank. Applicants must have or be near completion of a Ph.D. or similar terminal degree in economics or other related field at the time of hire. We seek applicants who have a strong academic background and are dedicated to producing research of excellent quality in the area of environmental or ecological economics. Candidates should also have demonstrated teaching excellence in related topics. Experience in course and/or curriculum development and innovation is expected.
