Position Summary

Trinity College (Hartford, CT) invites applications for a one-year pre- or post-doctoral fellowship to promote diversity at our nationally recognized liberal arts college in Hartford, Connecticut. Ann Plato Fellows will join the faculty in one of our 30 academic departments or interdisciplinary programs, interact regularly with colleagues and students on campus, and work on their own research. Pre-doctoral fellows will teach one course during the year; post-doctoral fellows will teach two courses.

Date of fellowship: September 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023.

Qualifications

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who will contribute to enhancing diversity at Trinity College by increasing ethnic and racial diversity, maximizing the educational benefits of diversity, and/or increasing the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of students.

Trinity College requires proof of COVID19 vaccination or an approved exemption prior to beginning employment.

Compensation

Stipend: $50,000 (pre-doctoral) to $55,000 (post-doctoral), plus health benefits, office space, computer, conference travel expenses, and assistance in finding housing near campus.
