The Housekeeper is responsible for performing a wide variety of housekeeping services at all Recreational Sports facilities. Housekeepers attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail and create a clean and orderly environment for our patrons. This position will report to the Housekeeping Coordinator. Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU .
• Ability to perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ability to adapt and move quickly from task to task.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to use standard housekeeping equipment, including auto scrubbers, floor buffers, and chemical dispensers.
• Experience maintaining various flooring surfaces, including wood, tile, polished concrete, and epoxy.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
