Summary of Job Duties:The Department of Accounting in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas seeks applications from interested candidates for a tenure-track open rank faculty position in accounting, outstanding potential to publish archival research in any area of accounting (audit, financial, tax, analytics, etc.), and a strong commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching. The expected start date for the positions is August 2022. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have a doctorate (or expect to complete their Ph.D. by August 15, 2022) in accounting from a nationally or internationally accredited university conferred by the start of employment



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess strong research records or the potential to publish in top-tier journals, have the ability to provide an excellent learning environment in the classroom and value collegiality

Applicants should submit a letter of application and a curriculum vita by October 14, 2021, to receive full consideration, but applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. The search committee may conduct remote interviews with select candidates prior to the application deadline, so early applications are encouraged.
