Job Description:

The Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Economics is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Management (F0074) at the assistant or associate professor rank to begin August 2022.  Candidates should have primary expertise in strategic management. An ability to teach business ethics is also desirable.

Requirements:

A Ph.D. in Management is required. Practical business experience is strongly preferred. ABD applicants will be considered if there is strong evidence that they will complete their degree requirements by August 2022. An established record of excellent teaching and research at the collegiate level is preferred. Successful candidates should be able to teach management courses at the undergraduate level and in the online MBA program. A demonstrated ability and commitment to working with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, and constituents in support of the university mission is required.

 

 

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, tenure-track, instructional faculty position. Salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience. Commonwealth of Virginia benefits accompany this position.  A successful criminal background investigation is required.
