Position Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health, is seeking a full time Radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track.

Principal Duties:

This position will include clinical, teaching, and academic duties. Clinical duties will take place in the Abdominal Imaging Section, and will include ultrasound, intra-operative ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), computed tomography (CT) guided procedures, virtual colonoscopy (VC), and gastrointestinal/genitourinary (GI/GU) imaging. Teaching and clinical research are required. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows and other department trainees as appropriate. The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public and university service appropriate to the faculty rank.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD or DO

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging or equivalent experience.

Appointment at the Associate or full Professor (CHS) rank will require experience and credentials for appointment at rank as described in UW SMPH CHS Track Promotion and Appointment Guidelines and must be reviewed by the CHS Track Promotions Committee and approved by the Dean.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin medical license eligible
Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology by American Board of Radiology.
