Job Description

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Director for the Integrated Student Services Center at the Daytona Beach campus. The Integrated Student Services Director is expected to be a visionary leader, effective manager, and committed to improving student services providing operational excellence across all service delivery methods - in person, email, phone, and online web services. The goal of the Integrated Student Services Center is to provide our students with effortless access to conduct registrations, payments, and conduct financial transactions and provide resolution, guidance and direction to students who seek assistance, have concerns or encounter issues.

The Director is responsible for all operational and strategic aspects of the center toward its mission to support and advance efforts to improve student success in higher education. In addition to managing all personnel and operations, the Director ensures that the Integrated Student Services center provides seamless, integrated cross-functional service in the areas of registration/enrollment, student records, financial aid, billing and payments, and financial literacy to all University constituents including students (prospective, current, former, and alumni), parents/families, staff, faculty, and other campus community members.

It is extremely important that the Director work collaboratively and cooperatively with other University departments and administrators to forge and build partnerships and relationships across the campus and university to ensure efforts are consistent with the goals and mission of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as a whole.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Three to five years of progressively more responsible work experience in a customer-service focused unit providing student services at an academic institution
  • Two to three years of progressively more responsible supervisory/ management experience
  • Significant knowledge of financial aid, registration, and/or student billing
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and build positive relationships with colleagues across campus
  • Ability to operate strategically and develop short-and long term goals and methods by which to achieve them
  • Demonstrates adaptability by adjusting to new situations, solving problems effectively, and creating an environment where others can do the same
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience in building and motivating productive and enthusiastic teams to fulfill the mission of the organization
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills
  • Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing projects and leading project teams
