The International School of Management, with offices in Paris, France, and New York, a recognized global leader in innovative executive education is currently recruiting department heads in the following areas:
- Finance
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation
- Strategic Technology
- International Business
Department heads are responsible for overseeing one 10-day in-person teaching block every two years, teaching two e-learning courses per year, approving dissertation proposals, and supervising doctoral dissertations. Department heads are expected to publish and to engage in other scholarly activities which support the institute’s mission. They must also participate in the institutional governance of the school and contribute to curriculum development. Department chairs are paid on a contractual basis a monthly stipend of 2K euro/month. Department chairs may perform their work remotely providing they are physically present for the in-person teaching blocks for which they are responsible and for other key events at the institute.
Candidates must have a track record of publications and other scholarly activities in their respective fields, have terminal degrees, and relevant experience in business. Candidates must be proficient in English, and be effective communicators capable of delivering courses with an energetic, dynamic, flexible, and student-centered teaching approach. They should moreover have experience with adult professional learners and students from a wide range of cultural, national and professional backgrounds.
