Position Title:

Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Department:

Job Summary:

The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This position will report to the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and assist with planning, organizing, administering and coordinating the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required. 1-3 years’ experience playing in high school and college women’s lacrosse and/or coaching women’s lacrosse. Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines required along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Certification in CPR, first aid and AED will be required prior to the completion of probation period.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the recruitment of top level, Division I student-athletes
  • Assisting with practice, competitions and games
  • Enforce team policies and rules
  • Assisting with fundraising and community involvement
  • Assist head coach in performing other job-related duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years previous experience playing or coaching in Division I college women’s lacrosse.
