The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a board certified/eligible Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician at the Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor level to pursue a non-tenure track career in the section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics. Special strengths of our program include five faculty physicians, two of whom are child and adolescent psychiatrists, six nurse practitioners trained in medical management of neurodevelopmental and behavioral health problems, two faculty psychologists, one of whom is a board certified behavior analyst, and eight psychotherapists licensed to treat children and adolescents with cognitive behavioral therapies. Commonly presenting disorders requiring definitive diagnosis and continuing treatment include autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, anxiety, depression, and other broad developmental and behavioral health problems. We serve as a tertiary referral center for all of north central Florida. Teaching opportunities include supervision of residents in all three years of general pediatrics training. Collaborative research with the new UF Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment as well as other subspecialties in the Department of Pediatrics is encouraged.

Applicants must have a M.D. degree and be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida in pediatrics and be board certified/board eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics.
