Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Administrative Specialist II supports the Administrative Associate, Dean, Associate Dean, and Marketing Manager in ensuring that the college serves the general public, students, faculty, and staff effectively. This position will perform administrative duties, including answering telephones, setting appointments, filing and record-keeping, data entry, assisting with official documents, and other duties as assigned.
The Administrative Specialist II must demonstrate the ability, commitment, and initiative to follow through and find solutions to problems within the scope of this position. Attention to detail, creativity, and effective use of resources are essential components to this position. The Administrative Specialist II has routine access to confidential information pertaining to employees and financial matters. Confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment are essential in this role.

Required Qualifications:
High school or equivalent.
Minimum of three years full-time experience in providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment.
Must be proficient in the use of PC and software including applications that relate to providing administrative support including word processing, spreadsheets, project management, email, and other databases (Microsoft Google Suite).

Preferred Qualifications include:
Prior college/university experience.
Experience with WSU eWeber Portal and any WSU operating systems used across campus.

The annual salary range for this position is $30,000 to $32,000 depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package. Some remote work may be possible. Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
