The Department of Economics at Vassar College invites applications
for a full-time Assistant Professor or Instructor position to begin

Vassar is a highly selective residential liberal arts college
located in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley, seventy-five
miles north of New York City. Evidence of excellent teaching skills
and research potential is essential; PhD by July 2018 desired but
individuals nearing completion will be considered. Teaching
responsibilities will include courses in the successful candidate's
specialty in addition to courses in introductory and intermediate
economics. Applications, which must include a cover letter,
curriculum vitae, scholarship sample, statement of teaching
philosophy showing interest in the liberal arts, diversity
statement highlighting contributions to and/or future plans for
promoting diversity and inclusion through teaching, research and/or
professional involvements, graduate transcript (unofficial copy
acceptable for initial application), and three (3) letters of
