· Associate degree (A.S., A.A.) or two-year technical certificate in instructional design, computer science or related area;
· 1 year related experience;
Minimum Education Qualification can be substituted with an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job Preferred qualifications:
. Bachelor’s degree in related field
. Knowledge of academic course technologies
. Skilled in providing customer service
. Skilled in using a computer and related software applications

Work Hours Compensation The annual salary is $40,109. A competitive benefit package is included. Special Instructions to Applicants
This position is grant funded and therefore a renewal of employment each year will be dependent upon the availability of the grant funds. Class Summary
Incumbents support the Instructional Design team to format and install online courses and provide support for faculty members with instructional technologies. Typical Essential Duties
· Prepare and review instructional materials and media in the learning management system for use by faculty, students and staff, including review for standard ADA compliance.

· Support instructional design team with course development and course updates. Review and make boiler plate updates District course shells, including syllabus, schedule, test banks and ADA remediation.

· Support the system manager in technical areas as required. Make updates to faculty and student resources modules. Monitor the LMS and MCC Online webpages to check for content and correct links. Maintain the DES Wiki.

· Work with system manager to load course contents for all online courses, manage organization enrollment, providing archived content as needed, and monitor instructional systems.

· Support faculty and staff in use of instructional technologies such as media platform, the learning management system, and conferencing.
