Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level End User Computing Specialist to join Academic Technology, Technology Support Services a unit within UFIT.

Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.

The primary responsibilities are:

  • Provide accurate, timely, and sustainable solutions to end user computing and networking problems of basic to moderate nature to ensure and user productivity.
  • Assist end users with getting set up, including familiarizing them with how to use the equipment and resolve issues pertaining to supported software.
  • Install and move computers, printers, and other end user technology devices, including installing designated system images and application software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve entry-level problems and provides entry-level maintenance for computers, printers, and other end user technology devices.

Expected Salary: $16.18 – $19.16; commensurate based on education and experience. In addition, the University of Florida offers a very competitive benefits package. Minimum Requirements:

Associate degree; or High School diploma and two years of relevant experience.
