Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas (UA Cossatot) began in DeQueen, Arkansas in 1975 as an Arkansas Vocational-Technical School, designed to provide relevant workforce training for four counties in southwest Arkansas. Fast forward to now where UA Cossatot has four vibrant campuses and over 1500 students learning in a variety of for-credit disciplines plus a host of area industry employees sharpening their skills through our workforce training programs. Summary of Job Duties:Teach courses within an educational setting; Instruct in skills in area of instruction; lecture in classroom; arrange field trips and lead students on trips; use instructional aids such as textbooks, workbooks, films, PowerPoint, and videos; arrange for speakers or special demonstrations to enhance classroom work; give individual instruction as needed; complete classroom records and reports, such as absences, schedules, and grade records; evaluate student performance by grading classroom work and by observing demonstrated skills; advise when planning and carrying out activities of student organization; perform other duties as assigned.

•tPlans learning activities and teaches 18 credit hours (6 classes) per fall and spring semester.
•tDevelops and implements curriculum for business programs.
•tServes as advisor for all students declaring Business majors.

Qualifications:

Masters of Business Administration or related field with 18 hours in one of the following: Business, Marketing, or Management.

Acceptable candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of business practices including computer applications, marketing and management

Salary Information:

$36,000 to $43,000 depending on education and relevant work experience
