The Department of English, Communication, and Media Studies at Greensboro College invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Communication. Applications are invited across a range of specializations.   The teaching load will be a 4-3 schedule of four-credit courses. We especially welcome candidates interested in collaborating with students on projects inside and outside the classroom, supervising internships, facilitating service learning, or innovating with digital technologies. The successful applicant will be comfortable teaching courses in several of these areas:

Global communication Digital gaming, game studies, or game design Social media and reputation management Health communication Strategic communication Interactive media Introduction to mass communication

 

Qualifications:

Required: MA or MS in communication Preferred: PhD in communication; ABD or PHD in closely related area will be considered
