POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position Description:
The California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Board
invites applications for the Executive Director of the CCCAA.
The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the CCCAA
and reports to the CCCAA Board. The Executive Director
oversees operations, provides administrative leadership, and
directs the day-to-day operations of the CCCAA and its staff.
The Executive Director implements the vision and strategic plan of
the CCCAA and is responsible for overseeing the statewide structure
and functioning of California Community College athletics.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any field, Master’s preferred.
Five or more years in a management or leadership position,
preferably within athletics.
Demonstrated commitment to furthering diversity and equity as core
values of the CCCAA
Timeline:
Application Deadline: Friday, October 8th.
First-level Interviews (via Zoom): Last week of October
Possible Meet n’ Greet (in-person, Concord, CA)/Final Interviews
(via Zoom): First Two Weeks of November
Start Date: January 3, 2022
Salary & Benefits:
Salary is negotiable. The position includes medical, dental,
and vision insurance in addition to paid sick and vacation
leave.
