The Department of Psychology in the College of Health, Science
& Technology at Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites
applications for a full-time, faculty position in psychology with a
specialization in social psychology or developmental psychology.
Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The
official start date is Fall 2022, with the possibility of a Spring
2022 start. This position is located in River Forest, IL.
Teaching format responsibilities are primarily face-to-face. In
addition to courses in their specialty (social or developmental
psychology), candidates must be able to teach statistics, research
methods, senior seminar and general psychology. The teaching load
is 4 courses per semester.
The successful candidate's research program should involve
mentoring of undergraduate research assistants, regular
presentations at professional conferences and publication in
peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, advising of undergraduate
students and service to the university, profession and community

Education and Experience Required:
An earned doctorate in the area of specialization from an
accredited institution prior to the start date is required. A
record of research and publication and 2-4 years of successful
undergraduate teaching is preferred.
