Assistant to Full Professor in Business Analytics


The University of California, Davis, Graduate School of Management (GSM) invites applications for a position in Business Analytics at the assistant, associate, and full professor level (tenure-track). Applicants whose research involves how analytics practices are used or implemented in organizations, or who use advanced data analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, use of unstructured data in decision making, advanced big data methods, reinforcement learning) to study business operations, organizational digital transformation, insights driven decision making or dynamical processes in business in their research are preferred, but all areas of research in business analytics will be considered.

The successful candidate will join a highly active and multidisciplinary group of faculty with research spanning various aspects of Business/Economics/Analytics/Statistics. The GSM has an established an MBA program, Master in Accountancy program, as well as a Master of Science in Business Analytics. Teaching responsibilities will be in the area of statistics and/or business analytics and may span across multiple programs. Recent graduates should show strong potential for top quality, innovative, and high-impact research in Statistics/Analytics. Experienced candidates should have a record of high quality published or in-process research consistent with their experience and exhibit strong thought leadership in their respective domains. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or expect to have completed a Ph.D. by the start of employment.

Applications received after November 1, 2021 and before June 30, 2022 will not be considered unless the initial search process has concluded and the position has not yet been filled.
