Reporting to the Senior Vice President for University Advancement ('the SVPUA"), the Director of Development ("the Director") is a proven relationship builder, an effective communicator, and a performance-oriented manager who will be assigned to high level prospective donors with an emphasis on health sciences. The Director organizes, plans, and executes a development strategy and fundraising program to secure major gift support from alumni, friends, business leaders and other constituents. This position's primary focus is identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-level prospective donors who have the capacity to make major and transformative gifts to the University. The individual will serve as a visible frontline fundraiser and manage a portfolio of 150 + individuals who have the capacity to give $50,000 or more.
