Position Summary

The University at Buffalo, School of Management is welcoming applications for our Student Engagement Coordinator role. As the Student Engagement Coordinator, you will play an integral role in the School of Management, working closely with undergraduate students to enhance their experience. The successful candidate will be a goal-oriented, dynamic team player with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Create, coordinate, and help deliver a comprehensive, flexible suite of engagement events and programs for all undergraduates, identifying appropriate themes and delivery methods for each class level. These initiatives will span across the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular dimensions of the student experience.
  • Work in partnership with multiple offices to create a seamless student experience.
  • Leverage leadership experience and ability to work with diverse student populations to increase participation.
  • Utilize technical systems proficiently for executing critical functions including but not limited to BizLink, BigInterview, and Suitable.
  • Facilitate direct communications and social media to effectively engage with students.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree with 2 years of experience or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in higher education or another relevant field.
  • Event management coordination and execution.
  • Teaching or presentation experience with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using database-driven software and web-based applications, social media platforms, and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in student Personnel Administration or Higher Education Administration with one to three years’ experience in student activity programming.

Physical Demands

Salary Range
$50,000 - $55,000
