Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Practitioner in the Department of Anaesthesiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531290), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong. They should demonstrate proven clinical experience and also a strong commitment to teaching, and be able to contribute to the enhancement and development of courses for the Faculty in the broad spectrum of medical and health sciences education. Proven capacity and potential in conducting research in their respective field(s) would be an advantage. Direct communication with patients is required and the languages employed are English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointments on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
