Job Summary
The Turner College of Business and Technology is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead the TSYS Center for Cybersecurity. The Director will be responsible for strategic leadership, program development, and fostering partnerships with corporate and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Significant Duties & Responsibilities include: Program Development: Oversee the creation and enhancement of cybersecurity programs, courses, and initiatives that meet the evolving needs of students and industry.; Grant Acquisition: Identify and secure external funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships, to support the Center's activities and growth.; Industry Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, fostering collaboration on internships and other initiatives.; Community Engagement: Represent the Cybersecurity Center at conferences, workshops, and public events to enhance its visibility and impact.; Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Center, including budget management, staff supervision, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: Educational Background- Accredited degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.; Experience: Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a track record of leadership in an academic or industry setting.; Corporate Partnerships: Experience working with corporate partners and fostering industry relationships.; Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications include: Educational Background: A Master's or Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.; Grant Acquisition: Demonstrated success in securing external grants and funding.; Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or academic administration.; Accreditation: Experience with CAE.
Proposed Salary
The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $111,068 - $125,000 and includes full benefits.

Conditions of Employment
