Duties & Responsibilities Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities:
The Training Center Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of training programs and supports the credentialling and continuing education activities of the VCU Center for Trauma and Critical Care Education. The role will be the primary person to schedule instructors for upcoming training courses. Provides excellent customer service in assisting students with registration.

Primary Responsibilities
●Handles the day-to-day operations of training courses including, but not limited to, setting up learning stations, ensuring equipment is in working order, briefing instructors, checking in students, completing course paperwork, and cleanup.
●Notify the designated course director of any discrepancies or issues that arise during training courses.
●Assist students for registration.
●Helps to manage the CTCCE registration system and room management system.
●Schedules instructors for upcoming training courses.
●Assists the training center coordinator in managing instructor credentials for multiple training programs.
●Completes and files training records for programs.
●Participates in quality assurance activities.
●Participates in the evaluation of training programs.
●May take on other administrative tasks for the Center as needed.
●Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Standards:
●Track record of impeccable organization skills.
●Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
●Experience with data entry, manipulation, and analysis in spreadsheets.
●Proficiency in business email systems and internet applications.
●Effectively and appropriately communicate with students, peers, supervisors, and clinical agency, and community personnel.
●Ability to perform physical requirements such as lifting, carrying, lifting overhead up to 30 pounds unassisted.
●Ability to work with common tablet operating systems (Apple OS, Android) with basic communications connectivity (Wifi, Bluetooth, etc) troubleshooting.

●Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.

Preferred Hiring Standards:
●Background in health-related field.
●Experience with iSimulate Realiti 360 simulation software.
●Associates degree or higher.
●Current AHA BLS certification.
