Coordinator, Risk Management and Insurance Programs 999222



Xavier University is recruiting a Coordinator for its Insurance and Risk Management programs. The Coordinator develops and implements risk and insurance coverage programs for the University. In doing so, this position collaborates with all levels across the University to review risk management and insurance matters; recommend appropriate risk management and insurance strategies; and implement strategies to manage risk exposures. This includes:

  • Coordinating insurance programs including procuring insurance policies, maintaining insurance coverage, and resolving commercial property, liability insurance, and self-insured claims.
  • Leading the investigation of loss incidents and accidents.
  • Developing and presenting training and educational programs to University personnel and students in the areas of insurance and claims processes, loss prevention, building safety inspections, safe driver training.
  • Researching specific risk management topics and staying abreast of risk management issues and developing related reports.
  • Performing special projects as assigned by the VP Risk Management.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • High School/GED required, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
